Concussion Recognition Response App

Peter King at Sports Illustrated reports today in his Monday Morning Quarterback column that there is a new application out for the Iphone and the Android that helps folks diagnose and respond to concussions. It is called the Concussion Recognition and Response Application. It sells for around $3.99. Also, the National Sports Concussion Cooperative held its first meeting last week. This will be another group, in addition to the NFL and its working group, that is focusing on concussion prevention, and particularly football helmet safety. It will take a concerted effort by many to effectively reduce the risks of concussions in football particularly. We will continue to follow the develpment of new technology and information on concussions and concussion prevention.
