Governor Beebe Supports Bond for Party Chair

Governor Beebe announced Friday that he was supporting McMath Woods partner Will Bond for Chairman of the Arkansas Democratic Party. The State Committee of the Democratic Party will vote on Feb. 12, 2011 for officers for the next two years. McMath Woods attorneys have a long history of public service, including Sam Ledbetter currently serving on the State Board of Education. The firm was founded in 1953 by Governor Sid McMath, Judge Henry Woods and Leland Leatherman after McMath left the Governor’s office.
McMath Woods attorneys all believe that public service and involvement in the community are important aspects of an active life in the law.
