Tragedy in Bentonville-Playground Death

A story from the Associated Press offers general details on the tragic death of a school child in Northwest Arkansas. Bentonville school officials say a fourth-grade student died after a soccer goal fell on him at school.

Superintendent Gary Compton told the Northwest Arkansas Times that the goal fell on top of the boy. It’s not known how the goal tipped over or what part of the child’s body was hit according to the Associated Press.

Compton says the child received medical attention from two nurses at the school before paramedics arrived.
