Walmart Recalls Cruller Bakery Pastries Due To Mislabeled Milk Allergen

The retail giant Walmart has issued a recall of eight-count packages of Cruller bakery pastries due to the common name “milk” not present on the label. The label shows sodium caseinate, a milk derivative, but people with milk allergies may not recognize the ingredient as a milk product. There has been one report of an adverse reaction by a customer, the company said. https://www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/ucm291560.htm
